Executive Coaching for leaders who refuse to plateau
You have already achieved a great deal. Now it is time to lead with deeper intention, sharper clarity, and a strategy that matches your ambition. Our coaching practice exists for exactly this moment.
Each engagement is designed around your context — your organisation, your leadership style, and the specific outcomes you need to deliver.
One-to-one executive coaching
Deep, confidential coaching for C-suite leaders, managing directors, and senior vice presidents navigating complex transitions, board dynamics, or organisational transformation. Sessions run fortnightly over six to twelve months, supported by between-session reflection exercises and 360-degree feedback integration.
Leadership team alignment
Working with intact leadership teams to surface hidden tensions, clarify shared priorities, and build the trust needed for collective high performance. This format combines group facilitation with individual coaching to ensure every voice shapes the outcome.
Transition and onboarding coaching
The first ninety days in a new role define the trajectory of a leader's tenure. We accelerate your integration by mapping stakeholder landscapes, identifying quick wins, and building a strategic presence that earns credibility fast.
Strategic thinking intensives
Half-day or full-day deep dives designed for leaders who need to step back from the operational noise and think at a higher altitude. We use structured frameworks, provocative questioning, and scenario planning to sharpen your strategic lens.
The shift we help you make
Most leaders who seek coaching are not broken — they are stuck at a level that used to feel like success but now feels like a ceiling.
Where leaders often find themselves
Reacting to every crisis instead of shaping the agenda
Struggling to delegate without losing quality or control
Feeling isolated at the top with few honest sounding boards
Delivering results but at an unsustainable personal cost
Sensing that their leadership style no longer fits the scale
Where coaching takes them
Setting the strategic tempo rather than chasing it
Building a leadership bench that multiplies their impact
Accessing honest, challenging dialogue in a safe space
Performing at their best without sacrificing wellbeing
Leading with a style that grows with the organisation
How an engagement unfolds
There is no cookie-cutter programme here. But every engagement follows a rhythm that keeps momentum high and outcomes tangible.
Discovery conversation
A confidential, no-obligation call where we explore whether coaching is the right intervention for what you are facing. We also assess mutual fit — chemistry matters in this work.
Diagnostic and contracting
We gather insight through stakeholder interviews, psychometric tools, or a bespoke 360 review. Together we define clear coaching objectives and success measures that your organisation can track.
Coaching sessions
Fortnightly sessions of seventy-five minutes, held in person or via secure video. Each session blends reflective inquiry with practical strategy, so you leave with both insight and action.
Review and integration
At agreed milestones we review progress against your objectives, adjust the focus if needed, and plan how you will sustain the gains long after coaching ends.

Why leaders choose us
Our coaching is grounded in real business experience, not just theory. Before becoming a full-time coach, our founder spent eighteen years in operational leadership roles across financial services, technology, and the public sector. That means we understand the pressures you face — not from a textbook, but from having sat in the same chair.
We hold accreditation with the International Coaching Federation at PCC level and maintain ongoing supervision, ensuring every engagement meets the highest ethical and professional standards. We also bring training in systemic team coaching, psychometrics (Hogan, MBTI, Lumina Spark), and adaptive leadership frameworks.
Based in Scotland, we work with clients across the United Kingdom and internationally. Sessions can take place in person at our Wehner-on-Cole office, at your premises, or via secure video — whichever supports the depth of conversation you need.
Questions we hear often
If your question is not here, get in touch and we will answer it personally.
How long does a typical coaching engagement last?
Most engagements run between six and twelve months, with fortnightly sessions. Shorter focused sprints of three months are available for specific challenges such as onboarding into a new role or preparing for a board presentation. We agree the duration together during the contracting phase and review it at each milestone.
Is coaching confidential?
Absolutely. Everything discussed in coaching is confidential. When an organisation sponsors the engagement, we agree upfront what high-level themes may be shared with the sponsor — but the content of sessions remains between coach and client. This boundary is non-negotiable and essential for trust.
What is the difference between coaching and mentoring?
Mentoring typically involves an experienced person sharing advice based on their own career. Coaching is different — we help you find your own answers through powerful questions, structured reflection, and accountability. We may draw on our business experience to challenge your thinking, but the goal is always to develop your own leadership capacity rather than create dependency on ours.
Can coaching be done remotely?
Yes. Many of our clients work with us entirely via secure video, and the depth and impact of those sessions matches in-person work. We use an encrypted platform and ensure the same level of presence and focus regardless of format. Hybrid arrangements — some sessions in person, some remote — are also common.
How do you measure the impact of coaching?
We define measurable objectives at the start — these might include behavioural shifts observed by stakeholders, progress on specific business goals, or improvements in team engagement scores. At agreed checkpoints we review these markers together, and many sponsoring organisations also conduct independent post-engagement evaluations.
What does coaching cost?
Fees depend on the scope and duration of the engagement. We provide a clear proposal after the discovery conversation so there are no surprises. Investment typically ranges from a focused three-month sprint to a comprehensive twelve-month programme, and we are happy to discuss what fits your budget and objectives.
